About Aaron Walker
Aaron Walker is, without question, a veteran entrepreneur. Starting his first business at 18, and selling to a Fortune 500 company nine short years later, demonstrates Aaron’s passion for success. Unwilling to rest on past success alone, Aaron started, bought, and sold eight successful companies over the past 36 years. Having a strong desire for personal development has kept Aaron in a weekly mastermind group for more than a decade with Dave Ramsey, Dan Miller, Ken Abraham, and seven other notable Nashvillians. Aaron has enjoyed a 35-year marriage with his beautiful wife, Robin. Today, Aaron spends the majority of his time helping men grow in success and significance as President and Founder of View from the Top, a premier life and business coaching resource.
Get what you really want
We live in a world of “right now.” We want what we want when we want it. But this doesn’t always equate to getting what we really want in our lives. Aaron’s advice to being truly successful is being able to delay the immediate gratification of what we want “right now” for what we really want for ourselves and our family.
It’s all about relationships
No one has been successful on their own. It’s hard to let go of that control, but in order to really succeed, we need people around us to cheer us on when times get tough. Investing time into the relationships that matter most, our family and our friends, yields the greatest dividends. Think about it: you’re at the gym with your buddy. You’re bound to push out that last rep if you have someone holding you accountable!
Predetermine what you want
Dreams are great, but without a concrete plan, that’s just what they are: dreams. Goals are dreams written down with an executable plan. You’re a guy, you like a strategy. Write down what you really want. Put a completion date next to it. Follow the plan.ou accountable!

Larry and Shawn!
This episode with Aaron Walker is quite possibly the greatest podcast episode I’ve ever heard, and I am a podcast junkie! Aaron has lived what so many of us hope to achieve in life, yet the lessons he has learned are the most valuable part.
I have never heard about giving the way he described, and he has inspired me to go out and buy lattes for strangers just to brighten their day! There are too many lessons in this to list, but this is an episode I will listen to over and over.
Thank you both for having Aaron as a guest, we are all much better for it.
Thanks again!!
