4 Pillars of Effective Leadership
On today’s Thursday Throwdown, I recap the 4 pillars of effective leadership that we discussed in the Dad Edge Alliance membership community call last week.
Good leadership skills are not only essential in work and business, but also in our roles as fathers and husbands.
4 Pillars of Effective Leadership
1. Honesty
Honesty earns respect and trust. Be direct and straightforward, but in a tactful way.
2. Delegation
A true leader will step in and take ownership when things go bad, and he will push people into the spotlight when things go well.
3. Adapting to Change
Standing still means falling behind. If we’re not challenging ourselves, we’re standing still and the world will pass us by.
4. Strategic Thinking
A leader must always think about what’s going to happen next. Be proactive instead of reactive.
